FREECome and Try Radio Yacht Sailing

We sail on the lake at Damian Leeding Memorial Park, Michael Shelly Way, Oxenford, QLD.
After 12:00 pm on a day we are sailing, you will see a group of cars parked on the northern edge of the lake west of the coffee shop. Just walk or drive to these cars, introduce yourself, and ask to speak to the DF65 Fleet Captain.

We sail from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm every Wednesday, weather and ground conditions permitting. Some of our members arrive at the coffee shop next to the lake about 11:00 am for a coffee and a chat. You are welcome to join them and ask any questions you may have about this fun sport.

Watch the one and a half minute video below to see new sailors on a Come and Try Radio Yacht Sailing day.
Note: The video has no audio.

After you have taken advantage of our Come and Try Radio Yacht Sailing program (where you can use one of our yachts for free over four non-consecutive sailing days) and have decided radio yacht sailing is for you or your family, you have options about getting a yacht of your own.
